This policy explains how Withholdwise, operated by Adream California, LLC, handles information.
Information you provide
If you submit an email address, we use it to send requested product or planning communications. Stripe processes payment details during checkout. Clerk processes authentication information when you create or use an account.
Pay statements and planning data
Withholdwise is designed to keep paystub processing and planning data in your browser whenever possible. Local scenarios, pulse history, and Pro status may be stored in browser storage. Do not upload documents containing information you do not want processed. Redact SSNs, bank details, addresses, and employee IDs before uploading.
Encrypted backups
Encrypted backups are created in your browser using Web Crypto. The backup file and password are not uploaded to Withholdwise. If you lose both, we cannot recover the backup.
Service providers
We use Netlify for hosting and serverless delivery, Stripe for payments, Clerk for authentication, Resend for requested email delivery, and Plausible for privacy-conscious analytics where configured. Each provider handles information under its own policies.
